Our
plan for this ‘discount voucher book’ is explained in the attached document,
however briefly it is designed to do three things.
Firstly
encourage potential customers to shop at your store. How do you get
competitors’ customers to come you when they habitually drive past you to go to
the competition? Is there a product or service you offer that people are
unaware of? Do you find business goes out of the area to Canberra when you can
provide exactly the same product or service? Let’s give customers a value
proposition to shop locally.
Secondly,
reward your existing customers. You have an existing client base that regularly
use your services, to reward them every time you provide goods or services
means continual cutting of profit margins. We believe there may be a way to
reward them in an alternate way.
Thirdly,
this book will be actively marketed to known groups who already regularly
commute to our area and will be available for purchase by anyone seeking
discounts ‘anything’ in the Snowy Mountains on the internet via our website.
The
proceeds of this venture will be directed toward community fundraising. We
propose school P&C’s and other community groups will sell the books and
keep 25% of the profits of their sales. As an example, should a school sell 50
books their profit will be $500.00.
Please
take some time to read the newsletter provided below and if you have any interest in being
a part of this community venture, please give us a call. We will not have the
resources to actively cover every business in the region so we are relying on
businesses to contact us.
The
book and the discounts offered will be valid for 12 months, so potential
customers will be holding onto your advertisement for that period. This is not
a weekly or daily advertisement. The best part is ITS FREE advertising to the
businesses.
